Orca Recovery International and Global Recovery International: Not the Same Company

Beware! Global Recovery International Pretending to Be Us

Continuing Orca Recovery International’s ongoing quest to expose the truth, we want to warn users of a scam we believe is being perpetrated against Orca Recovery and against you. While we hope other recovery asset companies are helping recover scammed funds, unfortunately, many of these so-called recovery companies are not who they say they are.

Orca Recovery doesn’t have any partner websites. We are in no way affiliated with a company called Global Recovery International, who appear to be pretending to be associated with us. This company has copied the content and design of an older version of our website, and we believe they are pretending to be us in an attempt to collect money from you. We have approached the website owners and asked them to take down the site, but to our disappointment, legal requests do not happen overnight.

We believe that Global Recovery International has been soliciting our clients, offering them a similar service to ours, and asking for payments upfront. One of their clients approached us trying to ascertain the connection between the two companies after he paid Global Recovery International $8,000 to help him recover a $19,000 loss. This man is now being asked to pay more money and is unsure if his money will be recovered or not.

Keep safe and do not pay asset recovery companies up front
Don’t pay asset recovery specialists up front.

In our opinion, Global Recovery International is not working to recover your funds nor do we think they are working together with lawyers. We want to emphasize that Orca Recovery does not ask for payment. We are an intelligence gathering agency and we refer victims of binary options scams to reputable law firms. We are paid by the lawyers to whom we provide intel. We warn everyone to be vigilant, and we have compiled a list of tips to keep you on the safe side of the recovery asset process.

Safety Tips

  1. Legitimate recovery asset specialists work in partnership with attorneys and will be proud to mention this. Associating with attorneys indicates that this company is able to recover your funds.
  2. Verify your attorney’s credentials. You can look online to find any attorney’s bar association membership, and you can also check if their licenses are up to date.
  3. Recovery asset specialists should not be contacting you unless you have asked for help first. This could mean you filled in a form online, emailed or phoned up the recovery company yourself.
  4. A legitimate recovery asset specialist should not ask for payment upfront.

I need help I just scammed almost 20k $ please help me and what to do? Someone wrote me but she is asking 1000 upfront and 25% when my will recover? Please can you tell me what are the process and how long will it takes to recover the money I lost?

Hi Felicitas, Orca Recovery do not take any money from clients. We refer cases over to top law firms who then proceed to fight using the information we provide them. Any fees will be discussed with the attorneys. They usually take a small upfront fee to begin working on the case; cases can take anywhere from months – two years to win, therefore they can not work for free for this entire time. They do not charge on an hourly basis like most law firms, it is just a small one off payment. The firms we work with are extremely successful and we recommend working with them – we will also be here to assist you throughout the process if you need more information.

I agree they should not have to work for free. Most law firms don’t ask for money upfront most only get paid if they win a case. Which makes them careful on what cases they take. The problem is this Binary place took every cent I had so coming up with anything is impossible due to being on a fixed income . These scammers took all my retirement and savings and i mean all. So what do I do. This will sound so bad , but i have had so many scammers call me that if they have a middle eastern accent most times i just hangup now these people are relentless So when this lawyers office contacted me i was weary and then asking for money i was done i thought it was this group of scammers again wanting to try and get more again . My other problem is how i prove they are who they say they are and the company is on the up and up if you know what i mean. The scammers had a great website so just going there really means nothing anymore to me and sending me a copy of there bar or any paper work proving anything means nothing also anything can be typed up or made to look official . So I’m sure you can see my dilemma. I don’t know what to do. HELP please

          Hi Janelle,

Of course I understand your dilemma – anyone who has been scammed by binary options is reluctant to ever trust again and rightly so. However if you want to successfully recover your money, you will have to trust you best instincts and understand that we are trying to help, as are the law firms we refer your cases over to.

Here is one of the biggest cases Birman Law, one of our associates is working on: http://www.globes.co.il/en/article-israeli-binary-options-co-sued-for-nis-36m-fraud-1001197628

It is a 10m USD case which we are assisting them with. Please read this story, it is pretty incredible and both us and Birman Law are doing all we can to successfully recover this stolen money.
